Overclocking Intel Core i5 3470 help! MSI B75A-G43's ClickBios II won't let me overclock!

Furst of all I have overclocked CPUs before. I just got a new motherboard, MSI B75A-G43, and it has this new bios that is really weird. It's called ClickBios and it won't let me overclock my proccessor. When i click the cpu ratio it won't let me choose anything above 32, which is the stock speed, 3.2ghz.

I know there is a OC genie which is supposed to overclock it for me, but i have been looking forever and can't find out how to make it work. Most motherboards with it have a button that you just push but my motherboard does not have one... And just clicking "genie mode" in the bios doesn't do anything

I have been looking online for a while and can't find out what to do. Thanks in advance

You can not overclock your CPU. The 3470 is not a "k" model CPU so you can't change the multiplier. Also, your mobo is a B75 board which doesn't overclock. If you wanted to overclock you would have had to buy a 3570k + Z77 mobo.

The Core i5-3470 is not a K-series processor, so it is not fully unlocked, but there are still some sizable performance gains to be had by overclocking. As we've mentioned, the Core i5-3470’s maximum multiplier can be set to only four bins higher than its peak Turbo multiplier. Since the base clock is 100MHz and the Core i5-3470 has a peak Turbo frequency of 3.6GHz, its max stock Turbo multiplier is 36. Through overclocking, that multiplier can be increased to 40, for a peak Turbo frequency of 4.0GHz. Manipulating the base clock can also add a bit more juice, however, to the tune of an additional 5-7%.

You are limited to about 4.0ghz that i have seen, like 4.0ghz on 1 core, 3.9ghz on 1 core, 3.8ghz on the last 2.
But you have to have a Z77 board, your current B75 does not support it.

Is there any tutorial or something i can read that will explain how to use the oc wizard or whatever to overclock it as much as possible with what I have?

So if i get a new processor will I be able to overclock that?

Not likely. You would also need a z77 chipset to overclock as well. B75 and non-k series CPU means you get what you've got. If you need to OC and are going to buy a new board and CPU, should just look at Haswell with an i5 4670k and a z87 motherboard.
