Samsung Galaxy s4 root?

Thread Starter
I have my first smartphone, it being a Samsung galaxy s4. I am new to rooting, but not new to computers or jailbreaking. I know there was a Motochopper root, but being new, I updated and broke the root. Any ideas when a new exploit will be available?

How is anyone supposed to know when a new exploit will be available? Just frequent the XDA forums and you will see when one is released.

Unless its been fixed since the May 7th update, at least for T-Mobiles S4 the following method is available .

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2268880

Or for the international, sprint, or T-Mo variants

I'm not asking for a date. Like, I am familiar with jailbreaking. I can say that depending on certain facts, it may take a while, or be instant after a new fimware is released. I have an ATT&T s4, and i would like to root - but I had no idea where to look. Is there any way to uninstall updates off of a phone?

That may be a good place for you to start at, looks like it will be up to date enough to help you.
