GTX 760 has 192.2 GB/s memory bandwidth

A graphics card PCB with a 512-bit memory interface is much more complex and requires more layers (to keep it small enough to fit inside a PC) than a graphics card with a 256-bit memory interface.

Don't fixate on a single specification. You now get a cheaper, faster and smaller graphics card. thumb.gif

^A useful spec is why. Why couldn't they at least maintain it at 512? It's not impossible is it? They trimmed it on purpose.
