Longer screws for my Magnum TH10 Case.

Hey Case Labs:

On the PSU side of the Magnum TH10 case there are four 120mm fan holes on the front. What kind of screws are used that attach the fan mount / HDD cage to the front wall of the case? If the screws were longer then I could mount one of the Silverstone fan filters right on the outside of the case. If I can get the type, then I can find longer screws to make this happen. Thanks.

The screws that mount this part to the front side 120mm fan holes:

They are 5/16'' 6-32 thumbscrews

Kevin,

Thanks for your quick reply. Not the thumb screws on the flex bay side, but the phillips head screws used on the PSU side on the front of the TH10 Magnum case. The part with the four 120mm fan holes. Is it the same screw only with a different head?

Your welcome. The thread pitch (6-32) is the same but yes the head is different and its slightly longer. The screws that are used to hold the covers are 1/4'' 6-32 pan-head screws. When the HDD fan mounts/cages are installed we do use the thumbscrews. All of our cases use only 6-32 screws (in different vairations; pan-head, thumbscrew, countersink....). The only exception would be the M3 screws that are included in the MB standoff kit and Flex-Bay device 5.25 mounts.
