ASUS z87-PRO + 4670k overclocked gaming issue

Thread Starter
Stability tests I've found to be absolute BS - I can run aida64 or OCCT for 45mins no stress with max temps 75-80 @ 4.4 1.26v but as soon as I play bf3 it all changes.

can someone please help me out with this question -

Why is it I CANNOT seem to get anything over 20 minutes @ 4.4cpu & Cache @ 1.31v on both - temps never go above 65c..??? I have been tweeking and fiddling the entire time and just cant seem to game for any significant amount of time with it either BSOD, restarting or freezing completely...?

ANY help would be awesome.

You actually need to stress test hours before finding errors. It's probably because you have four dimms occupied by two different sets of RAM, which may be running at different speeds, voltages, etc.

How about you test your RAM sticks one at a time with Memtest86+

Also, show us your CPU-Z information. That will help us more. Also, put your system into RigBuilder here: http://www.overclock.net/rigbuilder
