i just painted my case too. i paint for a living and i can tell you that you dont need to buy fancy case spray (LMAO at people that do). i used an air spraygun. like what cars are painted with. all you really need is a simple can of spray paint , a can of clearcoat, and some painters tape (prefferably the 3M orangeback). you can pick them up at home depot or Walmart. I put 2 coats of paint, and 2 clear coats on my case and i know it will not be chipping anytime soon

now im net to this whol painting thing too and i just want to know what paint and stuff you used ect and in what sequence any help is valuable thanks alot
well its simple really.
dust everything out of the case and wipe down with TSP, simple green, or just basic soap and water.
what i did was take the case apart and tape everything i did not want painted.
for example: the outside of the side panels, the top, and parts of the front.
i used a razor to cut the tape in the tight spots.
sprayed the case and side panels
waited about 20 mins and put another coat on
waited 2 hrs then applied clear coat.
waited 14 hrs and then applied last clear coat.
drying times will vary depending apon the product. read the cans
Edit: srry about the bump. just realised this thread was hella old
