We know corrosion issue has plagued other similar designs before, but those happen to custom, DIY parts that manufacturer has no control over what liquid and other parts are being used with it. Since we made ours as all-in-one products, we can control all aspects to ensure they work consistently for all users. Below are steps we have taken to slow galvanic corrosion so that is is no different to other AIO liquid solutions:
1. Aluminum unibody block is nickel plated inside and out.
2. Copper base is also treated with anti-oxidation coating inside and out.
3. Liquid is pH balanced and has anti-corrosion additive.
4. A plastic shroud assembly with rubber seals is used for channeling liquid through internal copper fins to minimize the time and surface that liquid comes into contact with inner nickel-plated aluminum.
With these measures, the rate of corrosion is about the same as other AIO solutions because we all use radiators made out of aluminum so corrosion still occurs over time, it just happens slowly enough that users won’t be affected for the lifetime of their PCs. Lastly, as a show of confidence, we offer 5 year warranty on our TD02 and TD03.
