2 bad cards vs 1 good card

Thread Starter
When it comes to gaming, I was wondering
is it better to I have 2 "GeForce with CUDA GT 640 EVGA 4GB"?
Or is it better to have 1 "GeForce GTX 660 MSI 2048MB"?

I chose these cards because it is the same price for 2 GT 640 or 1 GTX 660

You can't SLI a GT640.... so that makes things easier.

Also, you wouldn't have 4GB of memory either.

You can't sli a 640 (it doesn't support sli). Even if you could sli it, to match a 660 you'd need at least 3 of them tongue.gif

Well I think everyone already pounded in the no sli for the 640. But, generally I prefer to get one card and go as expensive as I can afford. I do this because I just prefer one card over two or more. It's been working for me so far and I can't complain.
