Can you mix and match copper and nickel (and other metals) in the same loop?

Hello and Good Day Overclock.net Community...

I am planning a build for my first journey into water cooling. I am just trying to separate fact from fiction when it comes to water cooling. Is it important to have all finishes of the radiator, and all blocks (and even fittings for that matter) be the same metal? Or can you have a nickel plated GPU block and a copper radiator no problem?

Also, what you be your recommendation for water cooling 2 GTX Titans and a I7 39070X? 240mm, 360mm, or just go with a 480mm? (I am planning to purchase a Corsair 900D for the case)

Thanks for any advice...

The only metal to avoid in a loop is aluminium, seeing as its not used in custom loop kit anymore its not really a consideration.
Silver doesn't strip plating like its made out to,its galvanic corrosive property is greatly exaggerated.
A minimum of a 480 is required, that 2011 is hot when clocked. The general rule of thumb is 120 of rad for each block and a 120 on top of the total.thumb.gif
