Need to Know if Power Supply Will Work With Components

Thread Starter
My buddy is having me build his rig because he just doesn't have the time to. I'm putting in a GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P, ATI Radeon X1650 Pro DM-RX165PG2-256RH, and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+. I don't know what RAM I'm going to put in it yet, and I'm thinking of putting in two Seagate ST3500418AS hard drives. The power supply (if it will work with all of this) is an Antec VP-450. Will this power supply work with all this? And if it does, how much extra wattage will be left over?
It will be more than enough power for that setup, that setup shouldn't use more than ~250w or so under load the GPU and HDD wont use much, most is going to be on the CPU. I wouldn't put too much extra in the system, or build it too big.

Hope this helps

it's not in this list

http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies

use it at your own risk. it's not a wattage issue, it's a quality issue.

Just because its not on a list does not mean its a good PSU. There are literally thousands of PSU's , good, and bad, a single list wont encompass them all. The one in the OP is fine, especially for a low power/use machine.
