^This. For all the positive aspects of the pc there is one big con, exclusives. And there are some nice exclusives for PS3 for instance that will never come to pc. As far as PC delivering better visuals, you have to remember the PS4 will have the equivalent of a 7850 gpu. That's a huge accomplishment for consoles and it will really narrow the gap between pc and console IMO. With that budget for a gaming pc, I would not buy an i5. I would not buy an Intel anything. The new consoles have AMD hardware and there's lots of talk about new games being optimized for AMD hardware. Who knows how that will work out though. I wouldn't rush to a decision. I don't know about you but I would be pretty upset to find out there would be very little if any difference in gaming between the PS4 and a pc. Especially if I spent $500 on that pc which could have went to the PS4 instead and have the opportunity to play all the exclusives. If I were you, I would wait until the PS4 is launched and see where things go from there.

With a PS4 budget, you'll never play BF4/Division at the settings you want. Get a PS4 if you don't have the cash for a new rig... You'll need it for next gen games.
