HD 4600 stuck at 1280x800?

I really need someone to tell me how to fix this before I destroy a brand new motherboard and CPU in a fit of rage. I have my dell 3007WFP-HC attached to my Gigabyte G1.sniper M5 powered by an i5-4670k. Supposedly the HD4600 is capable of more than 1280x800 but I have not been able to make it do so. Newest drivers from Intel site, updated the .inf for the dell. It will not do any other resolution. I know the setup works, my 3570k could display on the dell just fine but it was limited to 1920x1200 on the DVI port.

I am trying to use this setup for troubleshooting to remove my GPU's from the equation, but it is very difficult looking at huge blocky everything, which is why I was hoping the IGP would work.

You mean where you change the resolution settings from the display options is only limited to 1280x800?

Its definitely capable of higher resolutions. I've gamed with mine at 1920x1080.

Yeah, either the board or the chip was faulty, I went ahead and took them back out. It only had 1280x800 to select from at all.
