Mouse button lag comparison - Page 31

I really wouldn't rely too much on the bump test.

OP, you should edit the OP to mention that rafa's tests involve connecting both PCBs to the same switch as a lot of misinformed people have been dismissing the results believing that he's using the bump test.

Thought it was interesting to see someone else take a crack at it. I don't know the test conditions because of language barrier though.

Testings were made in the programm KRT of the A4Tech company. Like described in the instruction we smashed the left button of different mices with the right button of the A4Tech Bloody v3. The values are the rounded average of 100 results. (…) During the normal usage the differences are not to notice.
The less ms the better.

Thats the most important content. Sry for mistakes. Low laptop battery and no charger....had to make it fast

He updated the chart to include the Chroma.

Because of the relatively low button travel distance and high speed of the bump, the bump-test is actually very accurate, you can do the math, how many even if you had 3 mm of added travel distance for the button on the other mouse, it will only add 1-3 ms delay depending on the speed of the bumping..

(Bumping speed = 1 - 3 m/s = 1 - 3 mm/ms -> with speed of 1 m/s 3 mm movement takes 3 ms; with speed of 3 m/s 3 mm movement takes 1 ms...

Well, you can't have 100% proof, but you know that all other 1000Hz and 500Hz Logitech mice are in a super good spot on the chart. The newer G502 and G402 are also on there, not just old Logitech mice.

There are some posts of people using that program where you smash two mice together to compare. You could try to find those and see if G302 and G303 behaves like you would predict with this chart here.

Hey i just found out that the g303 use the same sensor as the g502 so its un a much better place
also the g303 is a much better version of the 302
Same shape/buttons
better feets,g502 sensor which is awesome, sensor located in the middle and rgb colors

Its not available in my country and until now i wanted to go with the da chroma cause its the "safe" option
but i think its time to try something new dont you think so?

Its the chroma 400dpi 500hz 6.1ms
vs
g303 400dpi 500hz 0.2ms

smile.gif

Again razer might be better just because i can get for cheap price here in Israel with 2 years warranty

G303 would require me to order it from amazon and include taxes not sure how much its going to cost
ill gk check and update here

Update g303 amazon with fast shipping 131usd

Going to check newegg and update

You need to be very careful about this!

The two mice are the complete opposite of each other. The way you put your hand on G302/303 is very, very different from what you do with Deathadder.

The G302/303 is like a mix between Logitech Mini and Razer Abyssus. In its largest part, it is a bit like the Abyssus, but the end and the front gets very thin. It is like a Mini where they tried to make it easier to lift. If you don't know Logitech Mini shape, you might have seen the Zowie Mico which is a copy.

The Deathadder, you just put your hand on it. You can use it with finger stretched out. This seems completely opposite from what you do with G302/303 where you instead have to curl your fingers and get under the mouse on both sides to grip it.
