Overclock check up

Thread Starter
Hey, just did my first OC, bought the pc already overclocked and it wasnt stable at my temps (pc kept restarting randomly) because the company tested the OC with 10° less ambian temps.

Anyway, here are the screeens, if you guys could check if i'm not doing anything plain stupid, would be much appreciated.

Now the temps are at 50° average in game - which is all i am doing, not really going to bother checking for stability with prime95 and such just yet, looking for a big mistake i could've made before i move on a bit further
Chip needs to stay alive 1 year minimum, then i'm going Ivy-E whenever it fails

any help is greatly appreciated, would be quite bad to fry a 1k euro cpu biggrin.gif

Nice cpu and a decent overclock too quakeas!

Quite a few settings in there im not sure I would change form auto (t.probe for example). I used to change alot of settings on my old 2600k but on my 3770k only settings I needed to change were cpu vcore and cpu multiplier. Have you been advised to change all those settings under the advanced slot too? Im not doubting you just curious as I dont own a SB-E chip.

Also I see you raised VTT and VCCSA both to 1.20v. Im guessing you raised VTT due to your ram running at 2400mhz, but I dont understand running VCCSA so high.

For overall settings i'm using Raja's guide here : http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?5835-ASUS-Rampage-IV-Extreme-UEFI-Guide-for-Overclocking

regarding CVVSA he says :

Quote:
so if VDIMM is set to 1.65V, then set VCCSA at around 1.05V minimum as a starting point AND also try to keep VCCSA within 0.3V of Vcore if possible.

which mean i can run vccsa lower I guess

Now i'm not stable in prime95, and i get memory errors from what it seems, i'm in windows8 so it's a bit hard to know haha.
What can i do to stabilize those?
