Man, if you have a dell motherboard don't even waste your time upgrading CPU. You're going to need to replace that mobo too bro, I'm sorry to say. But you can pick up a nice cheap mobo. You should OC tbh, imo. Even my 2700k bottle necks my GPU's at stock clocks. It's not till I hit the ~4.5-.8 ghz region that it really starts to shine.

Just to be clear, you'll need to upgrade your CPU and your motherboard. I'm sure you already know this, but I'll mention it just in case.
