Sapphire HD 7850 2GB (11200-07) unlocking voltage

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find the maximum overclock on air of my 7850, but Sapphire TriXX allow me to increase the voltage to 1.225v maximum. Is the any way to increase the voltage beyond 1.225v (I need about 1.24-1.25v)?

You try /xcl? To extend limits...

I think I have the same card and even it has the same voltage control. But I have heard that you could flash the .rom file of sapphire with.rom file of Asus DC2. That then allows voltages further than 1.225 to almost 1.30.. BTW, how much do you want to achieve

As voltage - 1.25v.
As frequency - 1200MHz.

I don't have clear expectations, I just like to experiment as long as the hardware allows it smile.gif.

PS. @jellyfish420 - Just tried /xcl, Afterburner said something like "the clock limit is now extended" and asked for reboot. I rebooted the PC, but the max voltage in TriXX is still 1.225v.

Worth a shot....
You could try "unofficial overclocking" in AB....i won't use it, it opened a whole can of worms when i did. If the diff bios works like suggested, i would probably go that route.
