What if my creed/religion states I must be true unto thee and unto others what is in my heart? You just bashed my beliefs by deleting a comment I made about another person. I thank you for cleaning the thread, but really who are you to say what is bashing and what is a comment upon another person. Judging people is a part of life. Being judged is as well. With that said, here's hoping more cities follow suit. I'd even donate some money to a kickstarter to get that done....

Lol,

As ISP network administrator i cant imagine we could offer our clients internet with data cap - it's not year 2k anymore smile.gif. £18 for 2/02 Mbps - omg wink.gif - for £15 we sell FTTH - 60/5 Mbps (it's 120/10 Mbps from 00.00 - 9.00 wink.gif ) without any data cap.

Anybody here from Olds, Alberta Canada? Does it snow in Alberta Canada a lot? Would like to move there, but if it's too "snowy", probably not.

I'm already considering on moving to Kansas for the Google Fiber.

If it's Teksavvy, good luck on service!

Would love to see something like Frostbite syncing every particle effect/detail among all the players on the server :-o

It's going to be a while before lag stops. Anyways, for most people, 100-200ms ping is fine. Unless you're a super hardcore counter strike gamer who needs extreme precision, you won't be needing a ping lower than 50ms TBH. And also bandwidth has nothing to do with ping, so just because it is 1gbps doesn't mean it will necessarily have good ping. You can have a high bandwidth but also extremely high ping.

This. I'm getting kind of annoyed with ocn's political correctness, and schizotypal behavior; they are over sensitive people.

Also, it is my religion that all other religions are dumb, and that I have the right to bash other religions. Therefore, since ocn deletes comments like that, they are bashing my personal religion.

Rogers has a deal currently for their Tier 1 internet service (regular $100) for 80% off.

Ends up saving me $78 per month.

That looks like the Rogers 75/2 internet plan (grandfathered Ultimate) with speedboost as the current Ultimate 150/10 is $122 (+modem rental +$3 price hike) and for only 250Gb. In Ontario there are TPIA's that provide the same 150/10 for alot cheaper and with a better package/plan. Take for example TekSavvy they offer 150/10 for $84.95 with 300Gb.

Here is my comparison speedtest on the 150/10 Cable Internet plan:

I pay $89.95 for that and receive 150/10+ and have 400Gb and unlimited downloads from 2-8am and unlimited uploads. This is as fast as I need and anything over or exceeding it would simply be overkill.

So in comparison:

400Gb vs 250Gb
Unlimited Uploads vs Limited Uploads
Unlimited Downloads from 2-8am vs Limited Downloads

In regards to this news source it is $59 a month not $170 a month and I'm not even sure where they got that figure. Look here:
