I'm not sure, I've never seen a unit just flat-out end early before.

I don't think it is a stability issue, but watch this new Amber core and see how it works for you. If it has the same problem, I'd start looking for your overclock.

A very occasional early end is nothing to worry about as some WUs mathematically fail. If it happens with any frequency, however, it's most likely as a result of your setup.
