Did Steam just screw me? - Page 4

Personally I don't wait for sales if I want to play some thing. When spending 1000 hours + in dota I don't get much time for other games. Still have to play Metro, DMC,Bioshock

Same boat, played several when I was younger but now need to have them on Steam to complete my OCD. But i've played in and out of steam at least 80% of them. Absolution is still taking a while to download.

Close to a 100$ spent on Summer games alone...I didn't realize. I just kept clicking and clicking as if the money wasn't adding up. The only thing I regret is DmC 3 and 4 for that price but where else could I find them? Surely, you gentlemen understand right? I had to!!! Why do you look at me? You guys buy GTX Titans for 1,000$. That's nothing compared to what I did!!! I made the right choice...right?

...right?

Edit: Ah ah, didn't count properly at all. It's actually around 68$. All good then. biggrin.gif

What I bought from the Steam sale:
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed: $7.49 - $5 Steam Wallet credit from Steam trading cards

Total spent: $2.49

I really make an effort only to buy games that I will play (And I pretty much only play match-based multiplayer games)

Holy crap, suddenly I feel better about my Steam library, although it also looks sort of pathetic now.

So I feel better, and worse.

You're whining about 100 bucks? LOL thats about my AVERAGE on a steam sale. When I go hog wild with gifts I can get crazy like last year and blow 500.

and here I was giving grief to a friend that spent over $500 (granted, he did buy a lot of multi-packs to hand out too).

As for $3500 a month - a lower end tech job should easily hit that in most areas. It would be a little more than $20/hour.
