hello I'm new to water cooling. I have intel 17 2600k stock at 3.4 ghz and 680 sli on my loop. this is the order. first starts at the reservoir then down to the pump then over to the 680 sli then to a triple 120 rad then to another pump then to the cpu then to a 120 mm x 60 mm rad then back to the reservoir. when I first turn it on every thing idles at low 30s then if I play a lot of games it goes to the high 40s and some times to 50 but never above 52c. I don't know a lot about temps but I think for my system it should be cooler. do I need to add another rad? or is this fine.

These questions about my temps are nearly impossible to answer 100% correctly. So many factors involved that can make one person temps different from another. Ambient is the one thing that affects it, bottom line is, those temps are safe.

Not unless you tell us what pump it is. I am going on a pure guess that 3 is just fine though. Bottom line is you have to test it and decided if you care about noise and if temps go down by running it faster. None of us can tell you what you should run.

If you don't like 4 or 5 , then you answered your own question. Run it at 5 for a while see if it helps remove the bubbles, then turn it back down. Cant hurt.
