Safe replacement?

So I was looking at this battery:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DE2S8RS/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is a replacement for my Galaxy s4. The original battery is 2600maH, at 3.8v

this is 3000 maH at 3.7v

that lower voltage - what are the cause/effects it could have?

I'd don't know if the voltage will be a problem, but to me 3 dollars seems too cheap for a extended battery.

I figured the same. I actually already picked one up. It's not extended I'll tell you that. But at the very least it is an emergency backup 2600 mah battery. Ah well. Not really upset. It was 3 dollars with free shipping. For a spare battery that's somewhat reliable. That's not a horrible deal

Replaceble batteries are defintely a plus, I'm stuck with using external solutions which are okay but end up taking more pocket space compared to a 2nd battery.

I used this battery in my LG Nitro HD

http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Nitro-Extended-Battery-Cover/dp/B0077EO5MG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1374595238&sr=8-2&keywords=lg+nitro+hd+battery

The battery worked ok and the extended back plate fit well and had a good feel to it. I will say even though it was nearly double the mAh I didn't receive near as much an increase in battery life as one would think, as well the battery seemed to deteriorate faster than stock. I have seen pics/read stories where these cheap batteries plastic covering were removed and a much lower mAh number was printed on the silver battery casing.
