Yup, I don't know why people think only consoles have exclusives, or consoles have more exclusives. Consoles get most of the JRPGs, sports games, sidescrollers, family games, and Nintendo's unique array of games. There are also some linear action/adventure games like The Last of Us and the Uncharted series, which are ridiculously overrated and aren't substantially different than some of the multiplatform titles out there (except for Uncharted's platforming I suppose), an outdated stealth series in Metal Gear Solid, and generic shooters like Gears of War that already oversaturate the market.
PC on the other hand has a lot of exclusive RPGs, racing simulators, flight simulators, mil-sims, survival games, co-op games, horror games, RTS, TBS, MMO/MOBAs, "building" games like Garry's Mod, and perhaps others. There is nothing like these on console.
Plus there are mods for certain multiplatform games that essentially make them PC exclusive: adding and improving so much that they end up being light-years ahead of the console counterparts. Fallout and The Elder Scrolls games are the best examples of this. Including these games, pretty much everything I play is PC exclusive, and I gamed exclusively on consoles for a decade before building a PC.
It's strange that a lot people ignore this, but even if you aren't fond of the wide array of PC exclusives, multiplatform titles are made much better for all of the reasons stated already.Edited by boredgunner - 7/21/13 at 8:53pm
