Yep hopefully AMD releases a FM2 compatible Kaveri's. The socket is unknown at the moment so hopefully they will continue to use FM2 as there will be no GDDR5 support.

It will depend on what you do with is, 8350 is what is the most competitive . single threaded performance will be worse then intel but multi thread will work its magic..games for example, 8350 will be slightly worse than prcessors that are 4 times the price.,..would they be worth paying for to get -1-5 frames more? i dont think so...

At $200 this is the best AMD cpu you can get. It can compete with the Intell I5-3570K which also in the $200 price range. If you want something better then you have to go Intel but you will have to spend more. If your main purpose is gaming there is no reason really to go higher.
