Hard drive warrantys

My friend got a HP pavilion G6 laptop - 13/02 /12. The hard drive failed and was replaced 19/08/12. And then yet again this failed on 10/7/13 and she had to purchase another .

PC world wanted to charge her £50 to just swap it over, and £35 to reload OS - that's not for the cost of the new hard drive! I told her to ring me whilst she was there and therefor told her I would sort it out for her.

£50 for Less than 5 min work! mad.gif

Now can I claim warranty anywhere for this?

I rang HP but they declined. I will do my best to inform future buyers to look elsewhere mad.gif

your views would be much appreciated thumb.gif
