Zotac card + EVGA Precision X

Hello, I'm kind of new in the overclocking world. I OC'ed my old card, an EVGA GTS 450 using Precision, and it worked great. Now I bought a Zotac GTX 650 Ti and downloaded the new Precision X, cause I read it was much better than Zotac's Firestorm. Well, clocked the core to +170mhz, the memory to +400mhz and the voltage to 1.150v. All good and fine, but I have a few questions.

Why are the power target and temp target options in Precision grayed out to me?
Why when I'm running some older games and videos, the card only goes up to 940mhz, is original base clock? To save energy? It only goes to 1110mhz when I play something like BF3. I'm concerned cause it feels like Precision is not overclocking my card all the time...
Why Precision don't show my base core clock or memory clock? To know how they are set, I need to open something like furmark to drain the GPU. Shouldn't that speedometer thing show my base clocks and not just the clock the GPU is using now?

Thank you guys, sorry to trouble you with those noob questions.

Turn K-Boost on. It will run maximum clocks all the time. Just make sure you have a good fan speed profile setup so you can keep it cool.
