Gentle Typhoon noice level / Alternatives to NZXT Sentry LXE?

Builing a rig ATM with focus on gaming, but i also want to be able to turn the fans down when i study or when i'm at sleep. The system:

- Fractal Design Arc Midi
- Intel 4770k
- (waiting for 780 Lightning or Classy)
- 1 EK XTX 240 rad GT-15 Push Pull
- 1 EK XT 240 rad GT-15 in Pull

The GPU and the CPU will be clocked and under water, i have a 2 bay hot swap cage for 3 drives in the 5.25" bays so i'm forces to using an external fan controller, i've been locking at the Sentry LXE and it looks great, the only thing is that it's only able to limit the voltage on the fans to 40% (4.8v), looking at a couple of videos the GT-15 have a starting voltage of around 3v and @ 4.8v it's spinning @ around 730Rpm.

How bad is the noice on the GT-15 @ 730Rpm and is there any other alternatives to the Sentry LXE that let's me turn the voltage off.

It's not touch screen but its a much better controller. If you want it to, instead of showing temps, it can show voltage. Although Newegg doesn't list it as such, its the Lamptron FC5v2.

As far as the GT-15's at 730RPM, I would expect them to be all but silent. I have 2 GT-15's and I really can't hear them over ambient noise once I turn them below about 1000RPM. I would expect almost any fan to be very quiet at 730RPM.

Have had plenty of Lamptron units before and they are great, but the two drivebays are taken by a hdd hot swap cage so it needs to be an external controller.
