Thinking about GPU upgrade - which one?

My sig rig is getting pretty long in the tooth. It does pretty much everything I ask it to very well. But I think it's getting time for a new video card. I just checked the system specs for Dishonored and see that my video card (9800GTX+) isn't quite up to the task. And my current card will barely be able to keep up with Bioshock Infinite. I don't play many of the latest and greatest games but was interested in those two on the Steam sale.

What would be a good upgrade in the $150-200 range?

I tend to go for EVGA Nvidia cards. Hence why I'm posting in the Nvidia forum. But I'd be interested in an ATI card if I'd get a better card for the money.

Wow, it's been a while...lots of changes here!

The $200 budget pretty much makes this a decision between a HD 7870 and a GTX 660. They're both competent mid-high-end cards, but one will slightly out-perform the other, depending on what game you're playing. Look at this link to AnandTech Bench for more info - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/660?vs=548
$200 is actually more the range of HD 7850, most of the 7870s are a little higher, like $225, so if you choose AMD, look for sales/rebates on 7870s to stay within your budget. The 660 Ti is a much bigger jump from the 660; $200 to $300+, but it's in a different class (I have the EVGA GTX 660 TI Superclocked+ 3GB, $330, but if I had $400 to spend now I'd get a GTX 770, an amazing card for the $).

between $150 and $200 you are mostly looking at the 650ti boost, hd7850 and gtx660. if you can find a decent model 7870 for $199 or under that would be the top card to go for, but most likely your best bet is a gtx660 like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130825

Thanks for the suggestions! After talking with the wifey, I'm probably going to put this off until Christmastime. This gives me a good frame of reference, though. It's been long enough since I've been hardware shopping that I don't know anything about the new generation of video cards.
