Which GTX 760? - Page 2

I dont think you can go wrong with any of them really. There is a really strong showing of the vendors in the 700 series.

Have you actually used one? I've used cards both with the TF and WF and can tell you they are both superb at cooling and silent when doing so.
It sounds to me you're just fan boying.
OP, I recommend a 760 with EITHER a TF or WF cooler. Whichever is cheapest

I am obviously biased cause I have a msi gaming but I base my recommendations on techpowerup review of both windforce and msi gaming.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Gigabyte/GeForce_GTX_760_WindForce_OC/26.html

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GeForce_GTX_760_TF_Gaming/26.html

Temps on both are great but if you are a silence lover I strongly suggest MSI gaming. But depending on case fans you might not notice a difference.

Linus basically said pick your favorite brand and go with it, because all of them are good cards and that you'd be happy with any of them, they each have a slight edge on one another in certain areas.
Right, it MAY be quieter by a measly 2db which is practically nothing. I say may because it may have been just a error in reading.
As they said, the whole system is passively cooled, at 27db, you won't hear it over all the other fans.

OP, if you are a silence lover then decide between the MSI and gigabyte. No point in limiting yourself down to 2db in noise, which could be wrong anyway.

Like I said, from experience, you won't hear any if them.

They are all going to overclock real similarly, they are all going to be priced similar and they are all good cards. Noise levels of any note wont be had until you are playing your games which in and of themselves make noise. I bought one for a friend, an evga with ACX fans, and I bought one for my son in law, an MSI. I havnt heard one complaint except that they want more games. EVGA does have 1st rate customer service in the gpu industry though and if you had to come up with "something" thats the only thing i can think of one over the others in this series.

Id agree with that.
Practically all card manufacturers are great these days. Now adays, warranty and RMA centres are most peoples most crucial buying point. Have a look around where and how good some brands' rma turn around times are and how good the warranty is. Not saying that all 760's break down, but its not impossible. Since all cards are great (enough), its just one thing to look at to help keep the stress at bay thumb.gif

^ It's true.

That's why I went with EVGA. I haven't had any issues with a GPU where I have had to RMA it but I've heard great things about their customer support.
