Anyone have a 780 running on a non-UEFI BIOS motherboard?

I have a 780 coming soon and doing some more research, the 780 recommends the latest UEFI BIOS. My Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 is still the old school blue screen BIOS so I am wondering if it would even boot at all with the 780. Dumb question: If it does work, would I see any performance loss?

I cannot see why a 780 would not work with GB's hybridEFI BIOS.

I know there's at least one guy on here running a 780 with a Q9550, so I'd imagine you'd be fine tongue.gif

Cool, good to know. What exactly is a UEFI BIOS on the 780 anyway? What makes it different than a regular BIOS?
