Is It The Roccat Kone + Or The Game That's Causing Imput Lag?

I just got this Kone + from RMA and in games like Skyrim, Fallout 3 (modded), New Vegas (modded) and Killing Floor it works great but in Borderlands 2, Far Cry Blood Dragon, MW3 and Black Ops 2 I get some serious lag in game. I have tried everything ; switched polling rates and sensitivity, disabled Vsync, re-installed the games to different SSD's, re-installed the mouse software. I rolled back my Nvidia drivers from ver. 320.49 WHQL to 314.22 WHQL. In Blood Dragon's first scene on board the Chopper I'm just along for the ride, any mouse input is delayed by several seconds.
My Specs:
Asus P8Z77 WS
i7 3770K @4.3 (On water temps @53 degrees load)
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16Gb
GTX 690
Seasonic 1000 watt Psu
I am playing at 5760X1080 on three 24" monitors (all Asus)
I did disable multi-monitors for performance and on one monitor FC3 Blood Dragon actually played correctly so I'm thinking it's a game related issue but at the same time I've always played Borderlands 2 @ 5760X1080 and it's always been smooth as butter. Now if I move the mouse at all while on the animated character menu it will freeze the entire screen up until I stop mouse movement.
Does anyone know a work around for this particular problem if not recommend a good mouse or have one for sale?

Try it with another mouse.

maybe set ur "max prerendered frames" to 1 in nvidia 3d application settings. Since you have the 690 u probably have one of the 300+ nvidia drivers which suck in terms of input lag.

I found a solution for the mouse lag and stutter in Far Cry Blood Dragon, Hard Reset and all the other games I'd been having terrible trouble with. It seems the problem wasn't the Roccat mouse or the Nvidia drivers it was Steam. I play offline and all games are smooth as butter, through Steam they are a total train wreck . I had the same issue with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing when it first came out and another member suggested playing it offline and it worked so I tried it with these games and I don't see one hiccup in the frame rate and mouse movement is smooth and lag free as it should be. I'd even bought a Logitech G700 I was so convinced it was the mouse. Maybe the last update Steam did broke things for me, who's to say but at least I know it's not hardware on my end.
