the desired fps worked on cs go but even l4d2 a 6 year old game that i maxxed out on the gtx 285 i had is giving me less fps then that 285 idk what wrong this card came out what late last year? that 5 years ahead the current tech is being compressed and released in 1 1/2 - 2 year intervals

i see no mhz drops or anything on the card nor the cpu... the hard drive? i dont know or perhaps the motherboard if not tis the stick or ram but asus is sending me a 8gig current edition of the series for my old ram so im not sure what else to look at... is there any software overclocking for the pcie and other slots or anything that would help?

This was with SLi enabled with 2560x1440 (default screen is 1920x1080)

Throttlestop for controlling the processor?
Doesn't your BIOS support Intel options for disabling powersave features?

You could also try nvidiaInspector, select the game profile and tweak settings. However default nvidia profiles work pretty well
