GTX 570 burning out monitors

Hey Guys
I have my GTX 570 hooked up to my TV for XBMC and to a monitor for the rest of my PC needs. Over the past 6 months I have gone through 2 monitors, one LG and one Chimei, they both have just stopped powering on. I plan on getting yet another monitor in the coming days but would like to know what is causing this. Is it possible there is an issue of having a TV and monitor both connected to the card which is causing these monitors to burn out.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

i dont know if im right or not, but im sure that vga/dvi or hdmi cables dont carry voltage, just a signal,

if it was the card, then it would blow somthing as soon as the pc is turned on wouldnt it?

just a thought biggrin.gif

Thanks Mate
Seeing as both have their own separate power supplies I doubted that would be the case; but it was the only thing I could think of seeing as both monitors have died in such a short period of time.

Yeah
That was something I failed to mention, I changed the power board over when I changed the monitors the first time as that was what I feared had broke the first one. I have a new monitor in now, a nice cheap one. Hopefully it was just a freak occurrence.
