CM Storm Devastator Gaming Bundle

Thread Starter
Hi, i was looking at the gaming bundle by CM Storm which is much cheaper than other keyboards that are in the market now, it also comes with a mouse.

Would just like to know if theres any reason that its much cheaper and what im missing out on.

I'm actually looking for a new gaming keyboard with blue LED backlights that is relatively cheap.

This is the gaming bundle i am talking about

Feel free to make any suggestions for keyboards that you think are suitable, thanks in advance!

Sorry for my bad english =X

Welcome!

The reason why this bundle is much cheaper than most other offerings is because most of the offerings (especially ones you see pitched around here) are mechanical keyboards, vs the rubber dome keys of this keyboard and other cheaper keyboards. Generally the differences that you would notice between them are key mushiness/responsiveness as well as sound (membrane keyboards are quieter). The difference would probably be better explained in here:

I can't comment on the mouse, though it probably is inferior to other mice (which you can look around in the mouse section of OCN).

I think Rubber Dome keyboards get a bit of stick around here. My new Ducky should be on my desk by tomorrow, so I'm transferring boat in that way biggrin.gif

As for the mouse, it looks pretty generic. I'd recommend any Logitech mouse for gaming really, I love my G500, and it's pretty cheap for the quality you get out of it. There are more expensive and cheaper versions, too.

I was just looking at this combo to buy, looks pretty decent for the amount of money you have to give. Any experiences guys?

I just bought last day. It cost me Aus$60 on sale. I like the color lit which is blue. The mouse design is cool too. Its better than my microsoft combo mouse and keyboard. I played BF4 and i increased my accuracy due to fast and responsive and maybe accurate mouse. It is a decent combo, If the price in US$ 30 grab it and you wont regret.thumb.gif

I bought this last month and I have to say it is better than what I had before. A good intro gaming keyboard and mouse for those on a low budget. If you are not looking to spend a lot of money on a mechanical but still want something good. Get this!
