Getting a physics card would be pointless, because the 8800GTX handles the physics of the games mostly, Also it is said Nvidia is gonna be coming out with a physics card of its own that will tie into the GTX card.

It won't do a thing. Very few games support the card. Only in those games will the card do anything. Having the PhysX card will just enable more gaming graphics. For the $200, just upgrade your processor.
Once again...

Your CPU will bottleneck your video card. However, a physx card will not lessen that bottleneck. Basically a physx card is programmed to do an extra set of calculations for certain games. Take GRAW for example. It does not help calculate the normal physics you would see in game, it actually ADDs extra eyecandy (more realistic bullet impacts on walls, car explosions etc). The best way to lower the bottleneck you will see with your new card will be either a new cpu/mobo, or overclocking! I say overclock!

Why would you buy a $300 Physics Card over a $300 CPU? Upgrade to a Asus 680i Motherboard, an E6300, and keep your 8800GTS.

Yeah, or get a WC setup for the $300 and do an uber-overclock.

even that won't help. The GTX are gonna be bottlenecks by pretty much anything right now, to a certain extent.

He has a GTS, but yeah, your comment still rings true either way, I would imagine even the GTS will end up being bottlenecked by his processor, the only thing that probably wouldnt bottleneck that GPU would be a Conroe.
