money. Just leave it alone. Leaving used game sales alone and the industry wouldn't be facing these problems in the first place
. Again, it's your fault, meaning developers, that any of this is happening in the first place. Your greed. Your fault.
Yet, since home consoles first came in to existence with swappable cartridges, used games have existed without issue.
That isn't because of used game sales, and you know
That's because people will buy up your yearly rehash of the same junk over and over. Why bother innovate at all when you
A) Release the same product every year that people buy
B) Don't have to compete because you control everything
I'm almost convinced you haven't really given this any thought, you're just reacting without thinking this through.
Anybody who calls developers greedy for wanting people who play their games to compensate them a little is baffling to me.
Developers spend thousands upon thousands of hours making a game....are you really going to call them greedy because they want the people who play their games to pay them a little for it? Is that really what you're hung up on?
I hope someday you spend thousands of hours making something, selling it to make ends meet and for every one person who pays you for your service, ten people are using your service without paying you a penny....pretty sure you'd be singing a different tune.
Maybe someday the real reality check will hit you.....that you're actually the greedy one.
