disable amd overdrive

how do you disable amd overdrive? im using evga precision and amd is sometimes interfering with it, i have a custom fan profile on evga precision. amd overdrive decided to override this with a constant 25% fan, i was playing hon had a look at my gpu stats out of interest and my gpu temp was 98C thanks a lot amd pos...if i untick "enable amd overdrive" it still automatically ticks the fan control. if i untick enable amd overdrive it then doesnt let me overclock in evga precision, why dont they just have the same setup as nvidia....i just want it to go away...

It sort of depends on what hardware ur using. Got an amd gpu? Open catalyst, top right click preferences and choose restore default. If yer using and amd gpu, you should probably use afterburner over precision though.

i know how to overclock :S im using evga precision to overclock, thats great and i have my custom fan profile on evga. thats all i want. i dont want to use amd over**** at all. but if i go in and manually disable it, it doesnt let me overclock in any program. but if its enable the fan thing in amd over**** interferes with my custom fan profile in evga precision. basically i just want to turn amd over**** off totally. i dont want anything from it but i still want the ability to overclock in other programs

this is what i mean

i dont want to use amd overdrive at all. if i unselect the "enable graphics overdrive" box, then when i restart my overclock in evga doesnt get applied. but if i select enable graphics overdrive then my overclock works AND my custom fan profile in evga works, but occasionally the fan stays at 25% this is because it is ticked at this on amd. but if i unselect fan, it automatically reticks itself? i dont want to use amd overdrive at all, its s h i t......
