Freebie[WINNER CHOOSEN]:Custom RGB Lighting kit - Custom length, Custom Controller, Sleeved and free shipping!

Hi, I’m board and I’m RMA'ing my CPU which will take a while so I have decided to use this spare time to give to the OCN community.

I have years of experience in custom PC's and Electrical Engineering and I’m pretty good at making custom light kits! With the market flooded with affordable RGB diode strands I figure it’s time to take on another project.

For one lucky person I am going to make a full custom RGB kit for their case, it will include:

-RGB strands at any length needed for the case

-An integrated RGB Controller which will include a wireless remote

-A custom power interface of your choice of connector’s terminals and switches.

How to qualify:

-Post a Picture of a failed or tacky lighting attempt of your own, If you do not have pictures then a description is fine! thumb.gif

-Entries will be picked at random but my overall goal is to help someone who cannot do it on their own or can not afford to so experienced modders are discouraged from posting!

Examples of my work: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

-The chosen winner will receive a PM from me with the list of the required information to complete the project.
-The kit will ship well packed in a Priority Flat Rate Box
-Only entries from the U.S. 50 and any U.S. Military Base(FPO,APO,AP etc.....)
-A winner will be picked on August 1st
-Deadline for shipping and kit completion will depend on the needs of the winner

Oh boy, my old custom computer when I built as a kid (Pentium, 2gb ram, massive thermaltake case), now that I look back at it has terrible lighting.. Instead of a quality PSU, I bought one with LEDs, same with everything else in my build. Oh they have leds?! Must be solid and good. Don't know if I can post my old build or not though OP.

Those are good points, I think I will change it so that it says provide a description if you do not have a photo to be fair! thumb.gif

I'll try to take a pic when I get home. The only LED lighting on my case is the fan that has 3 of the 4 LEDs working lol. I wouldn't even know where to start as far as describing when kind of plans I would have for my PC lol. I'll be submitting soon though!

Thanks for the Freebie MC!

I don't have pictures but a few years ago I tried to string led lights together and power it via my power supply. However being the idiot I was I didn't really know how to string the led's together so I ended up just taking christmas lights and powering it via an outlet. It worked but I had to keep the side panel open in order to allow the christmas lights to exit the case.

I did the same thing when I was a kid! I put Christmas lights on everything lol before LEDs were affordable and abundant! Used to have to tear apart a big radio to get LEDs and they were the dull smoked kind! rolleyes.gif

On my rig has almost no lighting except for the cheap LEDs kingwin fans that i have yet to replace, and with saving up for a better cpu cooler I always seem to have to tighten my budget and lighting keeps getting cut out which is sad because my case seems so dark and lonely... Thanks a ton for doing something like this Btw, its really generous of you, especially considering how amazing your previous work seems to have turned out. thumb.gif
