New to overclocking :)

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

New to the forum, but have been using computers since I could read :-)
Have not been much into overclocking, but after upgrading my rig, I'm now eager to get the most out of it so i could get the best possible experience when I play FSX. smile.gif

The only experience I have with overclocking is the automatic setup/mode provided from Asus on my last motherboard (P5W DH Deluxe), and now on my new motherboard (Asus Z87-Pro).
But due to BSOD when using the 4-way optimizer, I figured out I'll try to learn more about overclocking and how to do it the right way! biggrin.gif

If Iwould be so unfortunate to post in the wrong sections, please bear with me, and I will improve until next post! smile.gif

Looking forward to join the community and expand my knowledge.

Welcome.

I was in a similar situation a few months back. There is tons of info online, and forums like this makes it much easier to learn without causing damage. I'm still fairly new to oc, but managed to safely achieve stable overclocks on my graphics cards and cpus and nothing has been fried. (Knocking on wood.)
