Well, what do you think about this router Asus RT-N66U, is it worth while to have one if i would like to use it for only gaming? and the function that they provide which is the printer sharing and Aicloud services.

i was thinking of getting an Asus RT-N66U and replace its antenna to 7 dBi antenna. Furthermore, place the router right infront of the position that my friend's computer is located at. Is it a good idea? me and my friend is 80m away from each other.

Dbi can increase the distance, the one thing to keep in mind is that the is a sacrifice in the width of the signal.
