Well I went back to 60hz yesterday, just for the heck of it, and at 60hz gaming is horrible!!! Like not because I am used to 108hz, but because something has happened, 108hz still seems fine, but at 60hz, when I turn my gun in black ops 2 the screens motion blur/tearing is unbearable. Not sure if the pixels are just getting worn out being OC'd so high or what... but yeah... beware.
Have you compared this side by side with another 60 hz monitor?
Are you still running 100 fps at 60hz? Because that is why tearing happens, so of course it will be horrible.
Did you bother to try turning vsync on to see if it gets better? The stutter imparted by 60hz/60 fps is significantly more noticeable than it is at 100+ hz, so of course this will be far worse.
So maybe your monitor is fine, and you are just so used to it that it actually just appears worse to you. You just haven't given us enough details. Everything you said is just subjective.
