gtx 760 tri sli ---full gpu utlization with out any game

guys i have a strange problem which i dont know what to do about it ---

lately i was playing coh 2 and suddenly the game crashed just went back to windows --so i thoght might be a bug or some thing .

so i tried to benchmark valley i have 3 gtx 760 and had the latest drivers installed -

strange when the benchmark started i was geting like 30fps --so i quit and re start the system , even when i loaded windows again and started the benchmark same thing happened .

30fps......shocking as before i was geting like 100+ fps .

so i opened up afterburner and saw that in hardware monitor all 3 gpus were fully utlized and temps were in mid 70 ..i was like astranged as i had no gaming session going on so what was using the gpus .

when i get alt + ctrl + delete to get the task manager i saw svchost which suddenly dissaperead and all gpus utlization in the afterburner hardware monitor went down .

i tried a clean set of drivers even but this has been going on each time i start windows .

i also ran anti virus programs etc but nothing seems to change this phenomanan .

right now i had left the rig on to download a program 10gb in size --again when i reached home i saw that the pc was hung up ...no errors or some thing -

i dont want to re install windows again as i have many programs which i dont want to re install to cumber some .

whats causing the svshost to utilize my gpus to full ---i dont even cancel the program it just kills it self when i go in to task manager.

Have you tried uninstalling Steam? Not that I've ever heard of Steam doing this, but it is always good to eliminate any suspicions.

Perhaps you have a bitcoin mining virus or something like that.

Also have a search for a filename CGMiner & miner related file names.

This,

where did you get your drivers from, and what programs have you got installed?

I'd say to just reformat, as much as it's a PITA it's the only way to be sure and you're also losing money on power if you don't.

ok been 4 hours and now and the issue has not come back . what i did was to go in task manager and just kill some programs which i
was not using .and left the rig on on utorrnet .

so far the issue has not replicated it self ---i guess its when u re boot in to windows and not kill the programs in task manager that
this sort of thing happens .

i download my drivers from guru3d.com ...

ok i was not using the browser --so as i am typing this i see a spike in the hardware monitor showing that the gpu core took a bump
as soon as the browser was turned on ..then its normal again..

emmm..strange though

i am uploading a pic ---as u can see ---the spike occurs as soon as i loaded up firefox --before that it was normal line ----

it could be nothing though --but this sort of thing never happened before ...

can some one help me in unlocking the votlages on the gtx 760 wf gigabyte .

Before you start overclocking, I'd get that taken care of. I can boot and reboot my computer dozens of times without ever needing to go into Task Manager and kill programs. If I were you, I'd work on one problem at a time.
