Monitor not waking up (VG248QE)

Thread Starter
Good morning guys, I have the ASUS VG248QE 144hz 1ms monitor, and when I leave it on standby, it wakes up with "DisplayPort NOSIGNAL" and I have to shut down my system and unplug my DP cable for approximately 15 minutes for it to start working again.

I can't figure out whats causing this, other than manually turning off the monitor each time, or disabling sleep-mode, is there a way around it or a possible fix?

Just to clarify, my understanding of your problem is that:

You put your computer to standby. The monitor goes to sleep. You wake up your computer. The monitor wakes up and displays "DisplayPort NOSIGNAL". If you turn your monitor on and off, nothing changes (still displays NOSIGNAL). If you unplug and replug in your monitor, nothing changes. You have to completely shutdown your computer, and disconnect/reconnect the cable. If you don't disconnect/reconnect the cable, and turn on your computer, it still displays NOSIGNAL. If you quickly disconnect and reconnect the cable, and turn on your computer, it still displays NOSIGNAL. If you disconnect the cable, and wait a while before reconnecting the cable, and turn on your computer, it now works as expected.

Is this correct? In every detail?
