You do realize the U2711/U2713H is marketed as a professional monitor right, and Dell offers a budget model for $600, complete with solid warranties?
Those Korean displays aren't eating up anything; no discerning professional (those that these monitors are actually marketed to) that would buy a "high-end" professional monitor would even think about touching one of those crappy knockoffs.
