Ok, the only way for me to OC is in windows, with easy tune 5 because my MOBO wont let me do it in the bios. If it doesnt like the OC, it wont allow the change. the highest i have gotten it in the bios is 212!!! any one know how i can fix it?

212 you say.
Did you reduce the HTT (memory multiplyer) to 4x which should help stabilize the OC up to agout 260MHz? Beyond that speed drop to 3x.
You may also have to set the RAM on a divider by using DDR333 or DDR266 settings to allow the RAM room to OC along with the CPU.
Voltage adjustments on both the CPU and RAM along with relaxing the RAM timings can afford a higher OC too!

Terrible terrible board to OC with, my lan rig has it and I just dont OC with it. You can try going to the F7 bios and even lower the HTT down to x2 that sometimes help. I am just glad my main rig has a DFI or else I would go nuts.

I had the pro model of that board, it would hit 2500ish mhz and run fine, it was just the boot ups that were the problem. Once overclocked my system would boot, attempt to read ide deviced then reboot.... set your FSB where you want, and try letting it reboot on its own, if you set the HTT multi to 2x to mess with it you should be ok. I could hit 283 mhz on my athlon 3000+. just some info maybe..

But i agree its not a good OC'er

i think it oc's absolutly fine - i got a 40% overclock on this board, and run a 37% oc all the time on my 3200+ on my Gigabyte

280FSB is no problem

i just set the HTT multi to 3x and then it was fine
