Best ISP in Louisville Ky

Thread Starter
First off I am sorry for posting here. I am used to posting in the water cooling forum and I am honestly not sure where else to put this question. I recently moved to the Louisville Metro area and am currently "using" ATT U-verse. I put that in quotation marks because I have yet to actually connect to the internet. Furthermore, every time I call their office nobody answers the phone. Compound this with some bad buisness practices that I have been on the recieving end of (I wont give details because it is a long story but I will say that this alone is enough reason for me not to do buisness with them) and I am in the market for a new ISP. Can you please give me your opinion/experiance of who the best ISP is in the Louisville Metro area.

I'm not from Louisiana and because of this it's hard to recommend an ISP, because they can vary greatly between states.   Also what service options you have can vary depending on your location within a state, you might have local or small options that we wouldn't know of because we don't have your exact address
However there are two major things you can do to try to find a better service provider

1. Go to DSLReports, a great website for finding information on ISP in your area. It also has reviews from users of the service, so you can get an idea what people are saying about the provider, on a local level.

2. A second little less effective way would be to search high-speed providers and then you'd be able to find websites that will give you a list of ISP in your area. They won't have reviews, but maybe you could search for how good the service is in your area with another google search
