Need Help Setting Up My Folding

Thread Starter
So I have two problems to address.

A. My GTX 680 is making a sound I have never heard before. It sounds similar to the 7000 series coil whine. Is this normal?

B. I don't think my CPU is folding, it only shows progress on my 680. How do I setup my CPU?

It probably is coil wine and it isn't just limited to the 7000 series. The sound is cause by the electromagnetic coils vibrating at a certain frequency. There's not much you can do about it.

Which client are you using? Your picture shows that the cpu is folding, the timeframe for the cpu might just be longer.

A) As said possibly coil whine, not an impossibility

B) OP is using v7, OP is your CPU usage loaded up? Or are your cores still idling ?

If your in windows, simply:

1) Right click on the start bar, and choose "start task manager"
2) In task manager take a look at the "Performance" Tab
3) Get us a screen shot of this tab.
