Interesting benchmarks, but not all that conclusive. It would have helped if they had benchmarked cpu OC with a single card as well as crossfire. It is also not clear whether the slight improvements from the 4770k are the result of the higher ipc or hyperthreading. I suspect the former. If so, a higher OC on the 2500k should remove the difference, particularly as SB is generally better at overlocking than Haswell, and you might get a dud 4770k.

Titanfall runs on Source, so no worries there, and BF4 is practically BF3 DLC from what I've seen. If you were talking GPU power I'd have have some concerns about Star Citizen, but I don't think any game will push the limits of Sandy Bridge for years to come.

Wait for BF4 to come out and see how CPU handle it. Maybe Core i7 does better then Core i5 and it might be a worth wile upgrade. As far as performance/clock it will not be much better then your 2500K.
