Where can I find the hack to enable physx on my ATI card? - Page 2

Well I checked and they say that my card uses around 65 watts maybe 70 and I am using a 120 watt power supply right now that can be upgraded to a 150 or 200 Watt and I could do a bios flash to the card if all else fails and lower the voltage and clocks

Ah I forgot about the BIOS flash as a possible solution. If you upgraded the power supply, you would probably have enough power for the 680M. It sounds like it will work pretty well then. I can't think of any PCI issues, but don't neglect the potential temperature issues from running a higher TDP component. There will be an extra 20-30 Watts of heat, which is not trivial. If you're already experiencing temperature issues, upgrading is probably a bad idea. But if your temps are fine, then you have some room to upgrade. My laptop typically reached 90 C when I use to game on it, and I haven't noticed any negative side effects yet (it's three years old).

Best of luck with your laptop upgrade.
