Hi everyone ,

I would like to know what is the best CPU and Motherboard to get the best performance with two GTX 780 in SLI with 1440p resolution. ?

For Gaming in priority and Video editing and other stuff second .

I dont want the best for the price , I want the best for performance no price limit .

What would be the performance increase with a pcie 3.0 with dual x16 VS pcie 3.0 with dual x8 ?

I want the most fps with 0 Bottleneck and play game that are cpu demanding at the best settings i can .

I will overclock the CPU for sure so consider what cpu will be the best when overclocked but i want it stable with no to much heat .

Wich one would be the best for GTX 780s SLI ? :

CPU :
i7-3770K
i7-4770k
i7-3930K
i7-3960X

Or wait for the release of :

i7-4930k
i7-4960x

MOBO :
Asus
ASRock
Gygabyte
MSI

Other / Sugestions

Last thing is a 1000w psu will be enough for all this ?
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro RSA00-AMBAJ3-US 1000W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.92 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE

Thank You .

Thank You .

Power consumption will only require at least 760 W quality PSU from this list: http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies

Yes, 1000w will be more than enough for any of those three setups you linked.

The 3960x + X79 will give you the best performance. However, save about $500 by going with the 3930k instead if you choose to go that route.

And also, there are far better motherboards out there than the overpriced piece of crap known as the Sabertooth (Noobtooth).

For LGA2011, save money and get something like the Asrock X79 Extreme6 which will probably be way more than you'll ever need in a motherboard.

Other options for LGA2011 are:

For LGA1155, save a ton of money and get either the Asrock Z77 Extreme6 because it is on sale right now, or get the Biostar TZ77XE4 (for when the other motherboards aren't on sale.

Other good picks for LGA1155 are the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H/UD4H, or the MSI Z77-GD65.

For LGA1150 (Haswell), these are some good options:

SBe has weaker per core performance than Ivy Bridge/Haswell, so those games you linked (which aren't highly multi-threaded) aren't going to show it beating the Ivy/Haswell chips. If you run into a game that is highly multi-threaded (i.e. BF3/Crysis 3), then you will notice SBe pull away in general. Against the i7-2700k/3770k/4770k though, you won't notice a huge difference in gaming with an SBe 6 core CPU. Since even those highly threaded games aren't able to fully utilize all 12 threads of SBe.

However, if you do content creation such as video editing, etc. The extra 2C/4T on the 6 core SBe chips will GREATLY reduce render times, etc. And will be 100% worth it if you can afford it.

What would be the best for gaming

A 4770k overclock to 4.0Ghz or a 3770k overclock to 4.2ghz - 4.5ghz ?

Do you have more of theses ? Benchmarks ?

For BF4 do you think I will get better performances with a six cores ?
