When did you buy them? do you have a serial number or batch I could go by so when I pick mine I'll tell the retailer to you know picky picky mine.

Those of you guys who are using the corsair SP120's and haven't noticed this issue, can you please list your serial/batch number or time of purchase please.

I ordered them about 3 months ago. I wouldn't worry about too much I just run them at a higher rpm and they are perfectly fine, they just make a nice constant hum. When you get a stick up your butt and try to go as quiet as I did with a fanless PSU and water cooling you get too picky and it becomes more trouble than its worth. Its just better to be accustomed to a nice quiet hum rather than try to make it inaudible.

Thanks Guys, I will try my luck and see how that lands me. cheers.gif

So Corsair SP120 quiet for the radiator, now for the case Intake/Exhaust, I needed some blue led fans, quiet is a must and then of course performance.

Between the Gelid Wing & Enermax T.B.SILENCE, Which one should I pick, I hear the Gelid is supposedly loud at 12V. But thats the speed I plan on running the intake and exhaust fans. They both supposedly have the same CFM ratings but the enermax is supposed to be quieter? but then it can't really equal same CFM or..can it? ph34r-smiley.gif

i dont know much about the enermax or gelid fans, but i do own the cooler master r4 blue 120mm fans, they move a lot of air but can be quite loud at max rpm,i havent tried to lower the speed on them though.

i also have some bitfenix spectre pro blue led fans, they move a good amount of air, are pretty quiet at stock speed, and look pretty good i think.
